It clearly feels like politics will start to become a negative for the markets. The markets have raced up because of Trump’s policies to stimulate the economy. The Kavanaugh appointment illuminates the problems Trump will have if they lose one or both houses of congress. Also, in the political view, additional tariffs are now being implemented by the U.S. and China, a clear stalemate has developed.
