We start a new year after a massive recovery in the markets in 2019, from a very large sell off during the 4th quarter of 2018. The net result is the market is up just 9.9% from the high in 2018 to the close of last Friday, but up 38% from the December 2018 low for the S&P 500. That is some severe volatility.
