As we discussed last week, we thought the expectations of the market were too dovish and the Fed was going to adjust their expectations through the dot plots, which is each Fed Governors expectations to average to a consensus. Essentially, Powell said higher for longer, in terms of the Federal Funds rate, only .50% cut by the end of 2024 not 1%.
