The Employment Report was stronger than expected with 254,000 new jobs in September. As we have discussed, we are very suspicious of this report as it is a survey, so not hard numbers, and we are very close to the election. The ADP Employment Report for September was reported at just 143,000 jobs, 102,000 less than reported by the government survey. That is a major difference, which makes us believe that the Bureau of Labor Statics report of 254,000 new jobs is way off.
