Last Friday, the Employment Report was again much weaker than expected, the headline number was 194,000 new jobs and the consensus was for around 500,000. The underlying data was actually a little more positive, but still well below consensus. It is estimated that 7 million people came off the additional unemployment benefits from the Federal Government September.
